MP3.com, starting in 1998 with the help of D.A.M. Digitalautomaticmusic pressed special DAM-CD discs. These discs allowed any artist on the website to upload an album and sell it as a CD on the website. When these CDs were bought by end-users, D.A.M. Digitalautomaticmusic would print a CDr disc on-demand and mail it to the user. DAM-CD discs are special hybrid CDr discs that contain both the supplied MP3s burned as CD Audio, aswell as a file system that includes the original MP3 files and software to play the files. MP3.com purchased D.A.M. Digitalautomaticmusic and their technology entirely some time around 2002. This page serves as a historical record for every known (printed or not) DAM-CD release that was available on MP3.com for purchase, until sudden site closure in late 2003. Date ranges are based on identifying the dates on releases where they can be identified, and then if the range falls into the same date, fill the range with the date.
